During the Nationals broadcast Saturday night the analyst mentioned that Washington was the only team in the majors with an extra base hit in every game played this season. The following table shows he percentage of games with an extra-base hit for every team:

The surprises on the list to me are the Dodgers and Giants. Neither team knocks out that many extra base hits, but they always seem to get one in a game. At the other end are the Red Sox, with the most EXBH in baseball, but they went five games without as much as a double.
Checking back through the history of the Day by Day Database (back to 1957), not team has ever gone a full season with an EXBH in every game. Three teams came very close. The 2000 Reds recorded EXBH in 162 of 163 games, and the 1998 and 2004 Red Sox went 161 for 162. In the strike year of 1994, the Indians also missed by one game, 112 out of 113. Apart from making the playoffs, the Nationals may strive for another record.
