Time to Hope?
I remember the Red Sox being 1 out from a World Series victory in 1986. I remember calling a friend who was a big Red Sox fan and saying, "It looks like they're actually going to win!" Boston fans, now is not the time to think, "We're going to win!" It's much safer to assume you're going to lose tonight.
Trust me!!!!!! I'm not calling anyone!!!!!! It's the ultimate jinx....
Yeah. I'm a new baseball fan (I grew up in a place that has no baseball) and I got lulled into thinking they would easily win last year. What heartbreak. It's WAAAAY early. Sox were up 6 in the last ALDS game, too.
WHY was lowe pulled after only 69 pitches when he was absolutely cruising??? are they TRYING to lose?
