Comparing Pitchers

The latest addition to the Day by Day Database is pitcher comparisons. For example, here's a listing of the pitchers with the best K per 9 during the current decade. I hope you find this useful.

Please get rid of that Comic Sans font!!! It's horrible! It's hard to read and it's just a very poorly designed font that should only be brought out for kids birthday party invitations. Please pick something a little more professional. Comic Sans is the epitome of amateurishness. You are doing fantastic work with the DB. Please use a font that displays that level of professionalism.

Would it be too much trouble to add runs/9? Awesome resource, btw.

...font is hard to read? I bet I've got a few years on sabernar (and the bifocal correction to prove it!) and I could read it just fine! What a silly complaint! Thanks for the resource! jc

ps....and it's not a font my friend mssr. sabernar, it's a typeface....look it up! jc

jc, technically you are correct, but just barely.

According to Adobe:

“A font is one weight, width, and style of a typeface. Before scalable type, there was little distinction between the terms font, face, and family. Font and face still tend to be used interchangeably, although the term face is usually more correct.”

Is the database fully functional? In scanning the K/9 leaderboard, I noticed that Josh Beckett is missing...

Hmm...didn't notice how few IP blisters can lead you to have.
