Day at the Park

Cha Ho Park pitched a very decent game today. Jim Kaat was pointing out how effective Park was changing speeds, and how he had good movement on his sinking pitches. He did walk five, but he only allowed three hits and one run in 6 1/3. The Rangers will take that from Chan Ho every time.

David, Kaat also pointed, well repeated something he says quite frequently, that with a 6-1 lead, Park should have been taking it to the batters, and not trying to be so fine. Thus Kaat claims Park, and most starters, could go much deeper in games, instead of having over 100 pitches by the sixth. Kitty just said again: "The Yankees aren't as bad as they look." Well, just how bad are they, Kitty? [And I know he went on to say that if Randy Johnson goes out tomorrow and dominates, or at least does well enough to get a victory, all will be so much better. Really, Kitty?].
