Grand Floyd

Cliff Floyd hits a grand slam in the fifth inning to give the Mets a 5-4 lead. That gives Floyd 30 homers on the season, one off his career high.

Things are getting interesting in the Nats ninth, with runners on the corners and one out. They need this game badly. Otherwise, they'll be four down in the loss column to three teams for the wild card. That looks nearly impossible...

The Nats tie it in the top of the ninth with lots of helps from the Mets. The customers at Shea don't sound happy.

Robinson brings in rookie Jason Bergmann for the bottom of the ninth.
