Take Him to Detroit
It looks like Jim Leyland will be the new manager of the Tigers. Detroit is going to hold a news conference this afternoon.
It's a good choice. And it's also a positive sign for the Tigers, as I don't think Jim would be going to Detroit unless he thought they were ready to win.

I can't believe that (a) you made a Kentucky Fried Movie reference, and that (b) someone else posted about it before me. Rock.
Truly bizzarre. Less than 5 minutes prior I had encountered another obscure KFM reference.
That's all well and good, BUT didn't Leyland also manage in Colorado for a year? He couldn't have possibly thought they were ready right??
But, I do agree, he has proven to be a good manager in the past, with that exception.
