If You Win, They Will Come
The White Sox are setting a record for season ticket sales:
Team officials say the season-ticket holder base will exceed 20,000 this year for the first time in franchise history, and although full- and partial-season tickets are still being sold, they will not include the right to buy post-season game seats at U.S. Cellular Field.

Wow, does this mean that people actually are going to pick the White Sox to win? This has definantly been a long time coming.
I remember some years where people would expect the White Sox to fight for a playoff spot, but never have I seen the expectations built like this before a season. People are even giving them accolades for how they've handled their offseason. What happened to the ChiSox that made them suddenly start handling things better??
Think they're the next dynasty?
"If you win, they will come."
If I ever become a GM, I am stealing that EXACT line.
"What happened to the ChiSox that made them suddenly start handling things better??"
Kenny Williams happened.
"Kenny Williams happened"
I think you can also add Ozzie Guillen happened.
Between the two of them they really took a sledgehammer to the old second team in the second city finishing in second place image.
On a side note, why did Carlos Lee end up being 1 of the 7 White Sox playing in the world baseball classic? How does the WBC consider him to be a White Sox when he has been playing as a Brewer for the past year now?
