Doesn't sound good at all - rotator stuff is worse than Tommy John, according to those in the know. Hoffman came back from it, but he throws 50 innings a year, and his fastball tops out at 85. If it's a serious rotator cuff injury then this may be it for Prior. I don't know why the Cubs are being so evasive and dishonest with this--I mean, they're the ones who have to find a pitcher to replace Prior. It does them no good to be sneaky about it, and just makes the organization look foolish when this stuff comes out.
