Reyes Gets Hit

With one out in the seventh inning, Jim Thome comes up and hits a massive home run deep into the right field stands. Reyes loses the no-hitter, the shutout and the White Sox take a 1-0 lead. It was a majestic shot.

And Jenks shuts the Cards down 1-2-3 in the ninth. What a contrast to the first two games. And yet the same result.

Does Reyes have the exact same mechanics as Mark Prior? They look incredibly similiar. I know they were teammates in college and I believe they have both worked with Tom House.

It will be interesting to see if Reyes (who already has a history of injuries) will be able to avoid the injury problems that Prior has suffered through.
