Get Yer Red Hot Runs Right Here

It's in the top of the second in Tampa Bay, and the Angels and Devil Rays combined to score 10 runs so far. Fossum is out after facing 12 batters and allowing six hits. Colon allowed two homers in the bottom of the first, so he may not be far behind

Update: It turns out reliever Edwin Jackson wasn't far behind. He gives up five hits and five runs while getting just one out. Harville comes in and stops the bleeding, but not before the Angels post a ten spot in the second to take a 12-4 lead.

Colon gives up a run on a Crawford triple in the bottom of the 2nd. It's 12-5 Angels going to the top of the third.

Colon didn't give up the run, he only pitched the 1st...Gregg is in now...at least, that's what yahoo is telling me.

They took Colon out of the game for an "injured elbow". If I were to read anything into this I'd say Colon goes on the DL and Joe Saunders gets the call up.

Edwin Jackson is awful. His ERA is at 8.72 now. The Rays need to send him back down to Durham (AAA) to work on starting.

Of course he wasn't very good in Durham before so i'm not sure why he was ever called up to begin with.

Because they were desperate, and everybody thought Jackson was going to be hot shit 3 years ago?
