Peter Gammons Doing Well
This is great news. A friend of mine bumped into Peter Gammons at a hospital today:
He looks great. Lost some weight but otherwise, indistinguishable from his old self.
After the e-mail, I gave the friend a call and he says Peter was walking on his own and they had a short conversation and Gammons sounded like his old self. Let's hope he's back on the air soon.

Good to hear that. While I do have some issues with Peter (his Red Sox bias shows too much for me) I hope he does get back on the air.

I'm sure that while your friend bumped into him, Gammons broke the Lugo to LA trade in his hospital gown.

Wish ESPN would air the occaisional update on how Peter is doing. Not even mentioned on Sunday Night Baseball anymore.
Peter finally got a shoutout on tonight's Sunday Night Baseball. Good to hear that this UNC Chapel Hill alum's rehab is progressing well.
I just picked up the new cd and i really enjoyed it.Get well Peter,all of us here in Cooperstown wish you a speedy recovery
