Pitching Like Fryman, Hitting Like Ted

Woody Williams, with three hits tonight, is even with the Giants offense. The veteran is shutting out San Francisco on three hits and no walks. He's collected two singles and a double, scored twice and drove in one. Williams is a pretty good hitter for a pitcher, coming into the game with a .201 career batting average and a .276 career slugging percentage. Those will both go up tonight.
