Week Leader
I'm on the road today working from my phone so I can't link, but go to jsonline.com and read the Rickey Weeks story. It's a good example of a misconception about leadoff hitters. It's good for them to be aggressive on a 2-0 court. There job is to get on base. If they take pitches, all the better, but that's not the main part of the job.
Update: I'm home, and here's the link.

The JS article kind of sets up a false dichotomy: selective or aggressive. The truth is in between. A leadoff man should be selectively aggressive, especially in a hitter's count like 2-0. Don't watch hittable pitches go by, but don't swing at any old thing either. It's not good to take Strike 1 on a 2-0 count -- but it's much worse to swing at Ball 3.
