Schilling Story a Hoax
I just called the radio station that reported the story, and it was indeed a hoax. I'm very sorry to have been fooled by this, but being April 2nd, I assumed the jokes were over. My apologies to all. The DJ who pulled this wasn't on the air yesterday, so he decided to do it today. What a jerk.

As if we needed another example of the inanity of radio morning shows. April Fools on the 2nd?
That's what we get when April 1 falls on a weekend...
More importantly, aren't jokes supposed to be funny? I mean, one could make a fake news story about Congress voting for a 1% increase in corn subsidies and get people to believe it's true, because it sounds like something that could happen, but... is that funny?
Ya mean Jack Chesbro is not gonna be exhumed to become our 5th starter after all?
Are you kidding me?
The only injury I would worry about if I were Schilling are tired fingers from typing on his new blog.
If it was true, Schill would be blogging it!
4 IP 8 H 5 ER today for the Knight of the Keyboard, maybe he does have a broken arm.
