A lot of people are overreacting to the cold temps and snow outs in the Northeast. This rarely happens. Just because it happened one year doesn't mean northern teams should all start 3 serieses on the road like some people have suggested. It's just a cold couple of weeks across the country. It will be back to normal next year.

The bigger scheduling problem is the unevenness that teams play non-divison opponents. i.e. the A's play the DRays 10 times and the Yanks 6 times while the Mariners play the DRays 7 times and the Yanks 10. How is that fair for determining a division winner?
