Tribe Wins

The Indians defeat the Orioles 10-1 as Jhonny Peralta homers in the top of the ninth for the final run. That raises the Indians runs per game to 5.62, second only to the Yankees. Trot Nixon stayed hot after yesterday's five for five with three more hits this afternoon, giving him an 8 for 10 in the two days with six RBI. He's batting .338 on the season with a .419 OBA. Last season, Indians rightfielders hit .274 with a .339 OBA.

And unlike the last two seasons, Cleveland is out performing their Pythagorean projection. With 163 runs scored and 137 allowed they project to 17 wins, and today's victory gives them 19.
