So That's What a Can of Whup-Ass Looks Like!

The Rangers, in danger of being swept by the Yankees a second time, saw their bats come alive this afternoon as they demolished New York 14-2. The heart of the order, Teixeira, Sosa and Blalock combined to knock out nine hits in thirteen at bats, driving in six runs. In their previous five games against the Yankees, the Rangers managed just ten runs.
