Three Amigos
The Toronto Blue Jays did something tonight that hasn't been done since 5/7/2004; hit three home runs off Johan Santana in a game. All three were right handers, and as I noted earlier, the reason for Santana's higher ERA this season is right-handed power against him.
Toronto leads Minnesota 4-3 in the fifth as Justin Morneau has hit two home runs off Marcum.
Update: Frank Thomas goes deep again. That's the first time Santana allowed four home runs in one game.

I seem to be a curse for watching future HOF pitchers live.
I've seen Pedro twice, he gave up 4 and 5 runs.
I watched Nolan Ryan give up back to back jacks to Craig Grebeck (1st in his career) and Ozzie Guillen (1st of that season).
And now I've seen Johan give up 4 in a game.
Sigh. Is it too much to ask for a 2 hitter? :)
