Matt Magic

An easy 1-2-3 inning for Morris, two grounders and a K of Griffey. Veteran presence, indeed.

Update: Morris gave up a hit, but he has faced the minimum through three. Then he comes up and hits a 410 ft home run! Dave Littlefield is a genius!

Update: One problem with a vet is that they tire early. Morris gives up three hits in the sixth, despite a pitch count in the 60s. The Reds lead 4-1.

Update: The Pirates come back with five in the bottom of the inning, two on a homer by Bay and 3 on a homer by McLouth. That allows Morris to bat and pick up a single.

Update: Matt gives up a 1-out double to Hopper and comes out to a standing ovation. Hopper scores on a SB and error.

What's with the smut ads on your page, David? Your page is really turning into a piece of garbage. Before this it was just cluttered. I enjoy your content, but can't say the same for the page in general.
