New Streak

The Dodgers scored in the first two innings today. Furcal broke the scoreless streak when he walked leading off the game and came around to score on a bases loaded sacrifice fly by Jeff Kent. Los Angeles leads Cincinnati 2-1.

Hey, it's nice to score some runs again, even nicer to win the game.

I noticed the Giants and Dodgers made a trade for the first time in many years, with the Dodgers getting Mark Sweeney for a player to be named later. I always wonder about those trades... what's in it for the Giants? Sure, we don't need this guy off of our bench. We'll take, oh, some random Joe, who knows when.
