The Oakland Athletics are just pouring it on the Tigers tonight. They lead 8-1 in the top of the fourth, chasing Tata in the top of the third. The A's picked up eight hits so far, only one of them a single. They've knocked out five doubles, a triple and the first tater off Tata this season.

Update: Sheffield and Thames provide extra-base hits of their own as they both homer in the fifth, Thames with a grand slam to make the score 8-6 in favor of Oakland.
