Cleveland Plain Dealer reporter Paul Hoynes reported yesterday that the fracture in Lara's left (pitching) arm was not discovered until he was moved to the Cleveland Clinic last week.

He was in the hospital in the Domican Republic for nearly 3 weeks and they apparently missed it! Sad commentary on their hospital.
