Wild Ninth

Brad Lidge earns his first save for the Philadelphia Phillies, but he keeps the fans on the edge of their seats, he doesn't allow a hit, but he does give up an unearned run as an error, two walks and a wild pitch lead to the tally.

Manuel actually walked Ken Griffey intentionally to put the tying run on base for Castro. Javier Valentin pinch hit and struck out after the wild pitch. I guess Charlie thought there was a higher chance of Griffey hitting a homer than anyone else hitting a double.
