Perfect Closer
The Mariners might be sorry right now that George Sherrill pitches for the Orioles. He just held a 5-4 lead in the top of the ninth as Baltimore sweeps Seattle. George has yet to allow a hit as he picks up his fourth save in four tries, and his third against his former team.
Eric O'Flaherty gives up the game winner as Huff homers in the bottom of the eighth. That gives Eric six runs allowed in 3 2/3 innings. It was a long-ball game as nine of the sixteen hits went for extra bases.
Correction: Fixed a typo. Sherrill pitches for the Orioles.
