Razing Cain
The Giants have a chance to win when Matt Cain pitches, but not when he gives up five runs in the first three innings. Nine of the twenty one batters to face Cain reached base so far.
Meanwhile, Maddux had a rough first inning, giving up two hits and two walks, but a double play held the Giants to one run. He's been in control since. The Pdres lead 5-1 in the fourth.
