Uggla Swing
The Florida Marlins keep winning. Dan Uggla hit his seventh home run of the season and the sixty sixth of his career. He started playing in 2006, and since that time, here's the list of players with more or as many homers as Uggla. It's not very long.
Renyel Pinto pitched two scoreless innings to lower his ERA to 0.76. He's cementing his status as the greatest baseball player named Pinto.

I'm still not convinced on the Marlins, though the team has definitely improved, especially the offense. The team ranks fifth in the NL in OPS with no help from the ballpark. They're still underwater on run diff, though not by much. Are they really ready to compete with the Phillies, Braves and Mets?
I'd feel better about them if the team could get above tenth in the league in staff ERA. But that's a lot better than last year's dead last finish in ERA.
My first thought when looking at that table was to search for a way to sort by total bases. Is there any easy way to add that?
