Three Catchers
The Red Sox go with three catchers on their NLDS roster, most likely so they can pinch hit for Varitek. They're carrying 15 position players. That's important because Drew and Lowell are such question marks right now.
Also, if they bring in Wakefield in relief, they can slide in Cash for Varitek and still have the flexibility to hit for Cash later in the game.
Red Sox are playing in the NL now huh?
I wish - after they beat ChC in the 1st round it's BOS/TB for the WS
