New Interface

I haven't heard much positive or negative about the new interface to the Day by Day Database. Please let me know if you like it better or not.

It's much nicer. Thanks for all the work you put into this stuff.

It's much better, David. So nice having all the options together in one place.

Now how about "double splits" comparison capability by date range!

I like. I like. It seems less disorienting...

Yea, I like it a lot. I like how all the teams are listed now. Gives me a chance to look back at my world champion phillies in '08. . .

On a side note, thanks for all your blogging this season. . .I've been on here everyday. Here's to a good off-season. . .

I mentioned an error in the earlier post, but I also should have mentioned that I like the interface itself a lot. Much better. A great resource just got better. Now quit your lollygagging around and get on the PMR data!

I like it- it's a definite improvement- but it is still a bit cumbersome. Instead of having to type a player name in, then wait for it to load, then click the link for the type of report, then select date range, it would be nice to be able to select all of that information at once and click "get report".

Also, instead of a "choose new player" link, wait for the page to load, then type the name into a box, it would be nice to be able to just type the players name into a box right on the previous players page and go from there. It can take a while to load and anything that reduces the number of page loads is better.

And while I'm complaining, would there be any way to get plate apperances "PA" added to the reports? I find myself doing a lot of unnecessary math since so many other formulas require PA instead of or in addition to AB nowadays ;)

Anyway, I'll echo the others and say thanks again for providing this amazing free resource. I hate to even begin to criticize it, because it is so useful.
