It’s unfortunate the tie break games disappeared, because the NL Wild Card is shaping up for a wild finish. Four teams are within one game of each other for the third slot entering play today. I estimate the a 0.0044 probability of the four way tie at this point, or 11 chances in 2500 attempts. We’ll see how the Reds, Diamondbacks, Marlins, and Giants look tomorrow morning.
