The Phillies finish their series at the Orioles with Zack Wheeler facing Corbin Burnes. At the 70 inning mark, the two stand 5-6 in the majors in ERA, Burnes at 2.08, Wheeler at 2.16. The two are very close across the stat line, with Wheeler holding the advantage in preventing hits, while Burnes keeps his walks low.

The Guardians send Ben Lively against the Blue Jays and Jose Berrios. Lively owns a low strikeout rate and a low walk rate. In the past, a number of the balls in play against him went for home runs. With those down this season, his ERA dropped to a very respectable level. Berrios allowed thirteen home runs this season. That’s a high total, but given his 86 innings pitched, it’s not a terribly high rate.
