Mason Miller of the Athletics gets the last four outs in a 3-2 win over Rangers. A fan did run on the field in the middle of the ninth inning, but that was dealt with by security. At the end of the game, the team stayed on the field, and together they all tipped their hats to the fans. Manager Mark Kotsay gave a short speech, then led the crowd in a “Let’s go Oakland’ cheer. Then everyone gathered around the mound for a team picture.

It was a very nice ending to a very sad day.
