Braves Up

The Braves beat the Royals 2-1 on a walk-off home run off the bat of Travis d’Arnaud. That puts Atlanta up by 1/2 game over both the Mets and the Diamondbacks. The Brewers are up 6-0 on the Mets going to the top of the ninth, while the Padres and Diamondbacks are scoreless in the bottom of the sixth. A Monday doubleheader is looking more likely.

Update: The Mets lose 6-0.

Update: The Padres hit back-to-back home runs in the top of the ninth inning to take a 3-0 lead over the Diamondbacks.

Update: A third Padres home run in the inning makes the score 5-0.

Update: Padres win 5-0. Arizona and the Mets remain tied, both one game behind Atlanta. Off the top of my head, if the Braves and Mets win tomorrow and the Diamondbacks lose, then teams will not need a double header Monday, as the best Arizona could do is tie the Mets, and the Mets hold the tie breaker.
