Update: The Yankees load the bases with one out for Alex Rodriguez. A little nubber by Cano gets by Benoit for an infield single for the third base runner.

Update: Alex Rodriguez strikes out. The newspapers will have a time with him tomorrow if the Yankees lose.

Update: Mark Teixeira gets ahead 3-0. He walks on a 3-1 pitch and that cuts the Tigers’ lead to 3-2. Nick Swisher is up.

Update: Swisher falls behind 1-2. He swings and misses at a 2-2 pitch. The Yankees twice in the game loaded the bases with one out and only managed one run.
