Most folks don’t realize that Fat Bastard from the Austin Powers series was modeled after the original Jabba the Hut, a portly Scotsman.
The offseason got off to a good start with the Marlins and Blue Jays deal but since then, blahh.
The Yankees austerity measures have made them one of the top contenders for the worst offseason of any MLB team. Surprised their fans are not more concerned. This is the worst team I have seen them go into ST with in many a years. The pitching staff looks strong but has a lot of potential for age related issues.
pft » I think nearly two decades of making the playoffs probably earned the team a pass. I also believe fans understand that the team is taking a step back so they can set themselves up to dominate for another decade.
