The Yankees are giving Alex Rodriguez the day off:

The reason for Rodriguez’s absence was not immediately clear Sunday morning.

I’ll take a guess. Rodriguez returns to Yankee Stadium tomorrow, and the Yankees would rather see him hit the home run at home. A-Rod looks like he’s pressing at the plate, so this gives him the added benefit of relaxing for a day, taking some of the pressure off.
