Matt Shoemaker hit Brock Holt leading off the bottom of the first in the game between the Angels and the Red Sox. No Red Sox batter has reached base since, so Shoemaker will take a no-hitter into the seventh. He struck out six Boston batters so far. Maybe the Garrett Richards injury wont’ hurt that much!
