Mike Fiers hits Giancarlo Stanton with a pitch to load the bases with Yankees in the top of the third in Detroit. Stanton gets hit on the elbow, and has a lot of words for Fiers. Fiers was the pitcher who hit Stanton in the face. It was pretty clear that Fiers was not trying to hit Stanton. He’s been wild in the inning. The Yankees and Tigers are tied at one in the night cap.

Update: Stanton homers off Fiers leading off the sixth inning. That’s the best revenge. The Tigers lead the Yankees 3-2.
