Great Inning

If you get a chance, watch a replay of the top of the seventh inning in the White Sox/Yankees game. The White Sox score two to tie the game at two, as Sabathia falters a bit in the inning. The White Sox hitters did a great job of putting balls in play, but the Yankees fielders did a nice job on defense to hold Chicago to two runs despite four hits. Alex Rodriguez made two nice plays, one to cut a run down at the plate, and another to prevent a ball hit over the bag from going into the outfield. Swisher made a nice throw home to end the inning.

The White Sox hitters were very selective in the inning as well, waiting for their pitch, allowing Sabathia to get himself in trouble. Just a well played half-inning all around.
