Greene a No-Show

Khalil Greene will not be in camp with the Rangers:

Infielder Khalil Greene is again suffering from anxiety issues, leaving the Texas Rangers short an infielder as they begin spring training.

Greene, 30, will not report with the rest of the team’s position players Tuesday and could miss significant time, according to major-league sources.

Rangers general manager Jon Daniels declined comment when contacted Sunday night, saying the team planned to address the issue on Monday.

That’s too bad. I was looking forward to seeing what Greene could do in a hitters park.

A favorite player while with the Padres, i was looking forward to better news about him with the Rangers. I hope he gets better soon and can resume his baseball career.

God bless you, Khalil. I hope you get better, amigo. You have some good years left at the major league level. Take advantage of it. It’ll go by fast. Best of Fortune.
