I’m somewhat surprised the Toronto Blue Jays cut Edwin Encarnacion. His batting average was at the Mendoza line, but he did contribute offensively. He drew 18 walks in 120 at bats, a good walk rate. When he did hit, he hit for power as his .267 isolated power demonstrates. I would have given him more time to come out of his batting average slump. Some team might pick up a decent player here.
