The second generation of a baseball family passed:

Former major leaguer David M. Sisler, the last surviving child of Baseball Hall of Famer George Sisler, has died. He was 79.

Sisler walked more than he struck out for his career. His best year came in 1960 for the Tigers, when he posted a 2.48 ERA in 80 relief innings. He kept the ball in the park that year, allowing just three home runs.
