Verlander Throws his Second No Hitter

Justin Verlander dominated the Blue Jays as he walks one batter, coming in the eighth inning on his way to the second no-hitter in his career. He only struck out four, but he induced a double play to face the minimum and made a great defensive play on a ball that struck him and bounded away. He’s the 28th pitcher to record two or more no-nos.

The Tigers win 9-0. They’ve won four of five since the end of their long losing streak.
