Ryan Braun made a great catch earlier, and now he hits a tremendous three-run homer in the bottom of the eighth to give Milwaukee a 4-1 lead over the Marlins. He swung made perfect contact, then pointed the bat to centerfield where the ball arched high and hit the bottom of the scoreboard, way up above the TV camera well. The Brewers are three outs away from clinching a tie for the division. With the Cubs and Cardinals tied at one in the seventh inning, they still have a chance to clinch the NL Central tonight with a St. Louis loss.
