The Diamondback avoided arbitration with Craig Breslow, signing him to a contract just short of $1.8 million. That clears the arbitration plate for Arizona, as they did not need to go to a hearing this year. It’s actually a very good deal for Craig, since last season was the first he was only the second time in his career he was worth more than that amount.
