Hudson Hits a Valley

The Arizona Diamondbacks disabled Daniel Hudson due to a shoulder injury.

The Arizona Diamondbacks, already troubled by injuries, have placed right-hander Daniel Hudson on the 15-day disabled list with a right shoulder impingement.

Hudson, the No. 2 starter behind Ian Kennedy, was 1-1 with a 6.00 ERA in three starts. He allowed two runs and six hits in 7 2-3 innings against Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

That gives Arizona three big names either hurt or on the disabled list. The team has lost four in a row, falling to .500.
