Western Roundup

The Dodgers fall to Colorado 6-2 Monday night. Carlos Gonzalez drove in two runs with two hits, ending April on a hot note. He goes 8 for 15 over his last four games to raise his batting average over .300, scoring six runs and driving in nine.

Torii Hunter remains the only Angels player hitting on all cylinders as he homers and drives in three run on Monday night. His .294/.348/.447 slash line makes him the only LAnaheim player hitting for average, getting on base, and hitting for power. The Angles take down the Twins 4-3, and Albert Pujols ends the month without a home run.

Finally, Ryan Braun smacked three home run an unlikely spot as the Brewers beat the Padres 8-3 in San Diego. Braun added a triple for 15 total bases on the evening and drove in six runs. Braun becomes the first player ever to hit three home runs in a game at PETCO Park.

Shouldn’t say this, but I bet Braun has to pee into a bottle after that night at PETCO.

Halfway seriously, I’m sure he’s getting tested seven ways to Sunday this season.
