I watched the first inning of the Indians/White Sox game, and figured Chicago had the game well in hand as they chased Trevor Bauer with five runs in the bottom of the first. I just returned home, and the Indians are now up 19-10 in the ninth. The teams combined for a Fibonacci series of hits, with the Indians knocking out 21 so far, the White Sox 13. The two combined for 11 doubles, a triple and four home runs. The game two starters are going to need to last a long time, as the teams used nine relievers in game one. We’ll see if the White Sox have one more really big inning left.
Update: That’s the final as Cleveland wins 19-10.
