Phil Hughes pitched a good game for the Yankees, walking one and striking out 10 in 7 1/3 innings. Three of the five hits against him, however, left the ballpark and the Twins win 4-1. Samuel Deduno gets the win as he walked three and struck out three in seven innings, but he spread out six hits to limit the damage. The Yankees also lost base runners to a double play and caught stealing.
