Today marks the 25th anniversary of the Dave Henderson home run off Donnie Moore. It started the change from an Angels World Series appearance into a Boston comeback. The Red Sox would go on to lose the World Series in equally dramatic fashion.

My wife and I were newly married at the time, and that Sunday we out visiting friends and relatives. The game took forever, as we ended up watching it in three locations. I saw most of the beginning at her aunt’s house, the Henderson home run visiting my wife’s best friend, and the end of the game at home. It was an amazing game.
