Colby Lewis retired the first 15 Oakland batters tonight. Texas leads the game 3-0 as they bat in the bottom of the fifth. Lewis struck out just two batters so far, and has thrown just 46 pitches. Thirty four of those went for strikes. Stay tuned.

Update: Lewis gets three balls in the air in the sixth, and an out from each. Rougned Odor made a nice play going back in the outfield for the first out. Lewis is perfect through six innings.

Update: Lewis has an easy seventh inning, getting two grounders and a fly out to leftfield. Lewis has only thrown 69 pitches.

Update: Danny Valencia leads off the eighth with a double, and the perfect game bid is done. The Rangers now lead 4-0.
